Event enquiries

When you email about an event at a restaurant I work with, I handle that enquiry on the restaurant's behalf. I keep what you send me (your name, contact details and the details of the event) in an event management system I run, so the restaurant and I can plan the event and keep proper accounts. That system is backed up to a private Google Drive folder.

Drafts of my replies are sometimes prepared with the help of an AI writing tool, which sees the text of the enquiry while it does that.

The event management system is hosted on Railway. Enquiries also pass through the email service used to send and receive them. I share the event details with the restaurant the event is for, and use the hosting, email, backup and writing services described here to handle the enquiry.

I keep enquiries for as long as the restaurant needs them for its records. Ask me at any time to see what I hold or to have it deleted.

Google Calendar

I use a small program I built to read and write my own Google Calendar. It runs on my own computer and signs into my own Google account. Confirmed event details are copied into that calendar so I can see my week in one place, so the calendar can contain information about clients and their events. Google lets me remove its access at any time from my account's permissions page.
